I want to use cfx to simulate local bridge scour. My case study contains non-uniform sediments and I have understood that cfx can get different sizes of material to the solid phase in multiphase flow. I read some papers and get confused.
Can you guys please help me to clarify my question below.
If we can introduce non-uniform sediments into a solid phase, how would the momentum equation be solved for the solid phase? Can you please send me a document as a guide?

Your kind help and advice are most appreciated.

You can introduce non-uniform particle distributions. There are a few ways of doing it, have look in the documentation for ideas.

But CFX does not have a scour model, and it does not have a sedimentation model. So CFX is not an appropriate solver for this simulation.
