Hi, everyone!

When I set the porous domain interface at CFX (like at the attached picture), I need to set two interface at one surface. But I can only define one. ( I use ICEM to generate the geometry and the mesh.) May I ask how to solve this problem?

Best regards and many thanks,
lnk

A surface can only be in one interface. But an interface can have multiple surfaces on either side. So you just have to multi-select a few surfaces for one (or both) sides of the interface.

Hi, Glenn

Thank you very much for your answer. But here are the problems.

1. How to select one surface or some surfaces to be both sides of the interface?

2. I need to define the connection between a fluid domain and a porous domain. There's only one connection surface between these two domain. As shown at that picture, the interface I defined before can only be found at the fluid domain region list. But I need another one for the porous domain. How to solve this problem?

I used ICEM to create surface parts. Then they turned to interfaces at CFX-pre. If there's any other way to define interface. I'd also like to know.

Best regards and many thanks again,
lnk
