bigcon is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I'm relatively new to CFX and I have a question regarding obtaining data from results.
I sketched an airfoil in geometry, applied the meshing and setup and ran the solution. I now have results as per the image below.
What I would like to do next is pull velocity and pressure data from various points along the airfoil. What's the best way to do this (add contours)?

Thanks.

Define your points on the airfoil. This can be done many ways. Then go file/export and get a CSV file, or use the points in the calculation spreadsheet tab, or use the points in CEL expressions. CFD-Post is quite flexible and can process the data in many ways.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
If you want to extract pressure along the air foil, I would suggest to create a polyline as a boundary intersection. There select, the airfoil and the plane that you currently use to plot velocity.

If you have done that, you will obtain a line that you can use to plot pressure. Velocity will be zero, since you're on the wall. (with Hybrid values)
