Dear all,

I was wondering if its possible to specify vorticity boundary conditions to specific nodes within the domain in CFX?

Basically I would like to model a vortex generator without the actual geometry instead prescribe the effect of the geometry at the nodes, where the vortex generator will be. May be using primitive regions? or implementing immersed boundary condition?

Please advice on literature that have done such a thing or methods such as user defined function that may help me to achieve this. Any help is greatly appreciated

Maybe a momentum source? Have you tried this? There's some threads here about modeling momentum sources as interfaces and etc... I believe it follows the same strategy that you're trying to apply to your problem.
