Interphase transfer model
 

In my simulation,the multiphase model is as below:


MULTIPHASE MODELS:
Homogeneous Model = On
FREE SURFACE MODEL:
Option = Standard

But how should i set the following option, free surface or none?

INTERPHASE TRANSFER MODEL:
Option = Free Surface/NOne

In the help,it says,for homogeneous multiphase flow in which there is no interface transfer of any type,the interphase transfer is not relevant and none may be the option.

But it is a free surface simulaition.

So,what is the difference?

I prefer the none as there is no interface transfer.The free surface option may be for the free surface model and inhomogneous model.

This is referring to interphase mass and heat transfer. If you do not have this then leave it at the default setting.
