Question about the grid independance study

Hi,
When I do the grid independence study, shall I use the result of the previous simulation (coarse mesh) as the initial data of my new simulation (fine mesh) to accelerate the convergence?

Sounds good to me. The only thing which matters in a steady state run is the final result. How you got there is not important.
There is a small number of steady state simulations which bifurcate depending on the initial conditions - but these are rare. |
