i have two cases first one with clean inlet flow compressor and second one is distorted flow compressor (using distorted screen).
First case inlet axial velocity is uniform/constant. Second case i have generated inlet axial velocity profile which changes circumferentially. i know values at design point rpm, mass flow, axial velocity(distorted n undistorted both) what is the basic/logic behind using boundary condition at inlet & outlet? Total P Total T static P static T Mass flow velocity are the option available in CFX while choosing BC. thanks & regards Prashant |

Have a look at the best practices guide for turbo machinery modelling. It is included in the CFX documentation.
