Time taken by a simulation
 

Hello CFX users, I am new to CFX and I used Flow3D before where I had the % of simulation-finished is always shown, so I had an exact idea of how much time my simulation is going to take. Is there a way to find out the total time taken by the simulation inf CFX as well?

There is no "% complete" in the CFX solver since you determined when it will stop iterating the solution (convergence or max iterations). If you specified 100 iterations, then the current step number would be you "% complete"
You can determine how long say 100 iterations will take by seeing how long each one takes and multiplying by 100 if you wish.

I think we can also find it out from the number of time steps calculated/total no. of time steps.
