porous wall in cfx

hello.
I want to simulate an tube by cfx that its wall is porous.
who can help me?

you've to put a more specific request

so start reading user manual, mesh your geometry etc....

back on topic: you have to make a porous domain, GGI (fluid/porous) and define your porosity settings (e.g. loss modell)

cfx porous wall

hey.

my boundary condition is porous.
i want to know how i can simulate porous wall in cfx.
i think i need to import expression.what is your idea?

Never heard of a porous boundry condition???
Maybe you mean a porous domain? Just create a domain, and in CFX choose porous domain instead of fluid or solid. Then insert your parameters which describe the porosity.

cfx porous wall

i want to simulate a mass transfer blood vessel wall.
how i can start by CFX ?
you think my bondary condition for wall is porous or i should define a porous domain around vessel?

If you care about the details inside the wall, then add a porous domain and model it. If not, just formulate it as a boundary condition. I don't think you will find a "porous" boundary condition though. Think about what it is your porous boundary is supposed to represent and that should help you figure out what you need to impose as a bc. Maybe a mass source or sink?
