mooney Revlin model

Strain energy function for Mooney Revlin model ( from Literature)

W= c1*(I1-3)+C2(I2-3)+D1[exp(D2(I1-3))-1]

C1, C2 , D1 and D2 are material constant. Unit for all the terms are Pa

But in CFX , I could not find c1, c2, D1, D2 instead I found c10, c01, c11 and it is treated as material constant with unit Pa
but i found only one D the unit for D is Pa^-1

any one help me or explain about this

Thanks

Govind

You're asking a solid mechanics question in a cfx forum?
Anyway, I trust you have read the help files that explains that the 2-parameter Mooney-Rivlin strain energy potential is defined as
W = c10(I1-3)+c01(I2-3)+(1/d)(J-1)^2
where the last term is different compared to your expression. d is an incompressibility parameter.

I guess this follows on from Govind's last post - http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...lasticity.html

Dear friends
I am trying to model mooney revilin model for artery wall .I plan to use 3 parameter model.material constants C01, C10, C11 and incompressibility parameter D1 have been taken from literature. My question is: should I provide any other properties like young's modulus poisson' ratio, density etc to the artery wall model other than Mooney Revilin material constants? or Is it sufficient to describe only mooney revilin constants?

Thank you for your kind reply

Regards

Govind
