Hello!
I've problem that after performing transient calculation Workbench does Finalizing procedure which lasts too long. Why is it so? Is there a way to accelerate this process? Also if after calculation I try to open CFX-Pre through WB it opens for hours too. Why? Some Hardware specs: CPU 2x Xeon x5650 (12 cores, HT off), RAM 96 Gb |

More important is what the simulation is. How big is it? How long didi it take to run? Any physics which makes it mode complex?

This is a data writing/retrieval process (Hard Drives) and like Glenn stated a large file with many cells will take a long time to open.
Faster Raid configurations or some solid state drives (with or without raid) would speed these procedures up. You could also write less data to your solutions file. (Write only the variable you are interested in to your transient results, default writes everything) |
