omidiut Senior Member omid Join Date: Apr 2011 Posts: 105 Rep Power: 14	Hi all I'm trying to simulate interaction between vortex and an airfoil. How can i specify a vortex as a boundary condition? the vortex will be move with free stream. Best regards

ghorrocks Super Moderator Glenn Horrocks Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 17,703 Rep Power: 143	You can specify a vortex as the superposition of a ideal fluid vortex and a constant flow with some CEL expressions. Look up the ideal flow vortex equation in a fluid mechanics textbook.
