vortex shedding, transient or steady state analysis type?

Hello,

I am doing some simulations about Vortex shedding in cylinders with a constant current speed. In principle, I tried to do a transient analysis (as I have seen in other examples that I have), but drag force don't seemed to be good, because Cd was lower than Cd-Re graphics. After this, I made a steady state simulation, and the forces results were better than the other simulation.
I also want to say that in transient analysis for high Reynolds numbers doesn't appear tranverse oscillation whereas in steady state analysis does appear.
I think this is strange, but I am a novice in CFD simulations and I am not sure which simulation is better.

Thank you so much
