Liquid Oxygen Evaporation
Hi,
I have a problem with the Lagrange-Particle injection of liquid oxygen into gaseous methane. Everything works fine, the droplet evaporates, but the droplet temperature always stays at injection temperature, no matter what injection temperature that is. For comparison I did the the simulation, this time with water/air and there the droplet temperature changes... Any idea what the reason for this behaviour for liquid oxygen could be?? Thanks a lot! |
I have no experience in this type of modelling, but if the same modelling setup works with air/water but not with O2/CH4 then I would be looking to see what material properties are not defined in O2/CH4 which are in air/water.

Seems that was a bug of Ansys 13.0, switched to 14.5 and it works fine....
