CFX Post: Vector notation

Dear All,
I am using CFX14 for cyclone model. This problem relates to CFX Post Processing.

My problem is I know how to get variables of Axial, circumferential and radial velocities.

The problem is I can get contours of these variables, but I cannot get them in vector notation. In vector plot, it shows only the velocity in the selection box.

Can anybody help me to fix this matter?

If you want the vector quantity then why isn't the velocity vectors in the absolute frame of reference adequate?

You might have to define a new variable as a vector quantity, and manually set the vector components.

Could you please clarify?

I used Turbo to initiate axis of rotation and calculate the velocity components. But these calculated velocity components are not showed in vector notation.

My requirement is to plot axial, tangential and radial velocities on a plane.

You do not need a vector quantity to plot axial, tangential and radial velocities on a plane. It appears you already have this as scalar quantities, so can you just plot those on a plane? You need 3D quantities when doing 3D operations like vectors and streamlines, and most of these operations can be done just as well using the default Velocity variable (ie in the default cartesian coordinates).

I think I have misunderstood something.
Do you mean that I can plot them on a plane directly? I know to plot quantities on a plane by using vector or contour form only.
I could plot them by using contours, but my requirement is to plot them as vectors independently.
When I used contours it appeared in the selection variable box (image 1) but not in vector selection box (image 2).

I want to draw Radial velocity of a cyclone flow on a cross sectional plane. I have seen it before on a research paper which been done in FLUENT.

The previous attachments show that, when plot a contour on the plane, Radial velocity is showed in the selection box(in image 1), but it is not in the selection variable box, when plotting vector (image 2).

Simply, I want to plot Radial velocity as a vector form.
Really appreciate your kind helps.
