variables continuity between different pitch angles

Hello guys.

I do a calculation of the electrical machine so I use 90deg model but the fan. Because of different angles between blades, I have to make 180deg model of the fan.

After the calculation I got results that look strange. I have to say that the mesh is of good quality. My question is how are the variable values transformed from 90deg to 180deg? Because on the picture you can see bad transition between two domain. Both doamins rotate.

What are we looking at? What does the mesh look like? Is it converged? What rotation do both domains do?

It is a part of the generator (there is static domain at the top of the picture, then the air goes to rotating domain and to fan. So rotating domain and fan has the same angular velocity.

Mesh has same sizing on both sides of the interface (rot.domain + fan). But it is not node on node so I couldn§t use 1:1 interface connection, I used GGI.

And the calculation is converged in the same way like other designs.

I am afraid that the way you have tried to do the sector of the generator and the fan will not work out.

Could you please put a snap shot of your domain???
