Difference vectors of two simulated configurations!

2 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I simulated two different configurations of a test chamber (shown in the images).

At CFD-Post I have displayed the velocity vectors.

My question: Is it able, to load both results into one file and show the "difference vectors"?
I want to show how the vectors have changed because of the other configuration.

Thanks a lot!

You can use the case comparison feature in cfd-post to load to .res-files to compare different results.

There's even a tutorial on it, see cfx_tutr.pdf

I'll try it!

Which tutorial do you mean?

load the first results file
then load the second file but select "keep current cases loaded"
select case comparison

I think it is in the end of tutorial 32.

Thanks a lot! It has worked :)
I got the velocity difference vectors in an Image.

Is it also possible to get displayed their magnitude?
