Prediction of stall point

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if anyone one here knows a way to predict the stall point? For capturing stall point, I reduce the exit corrected massflow (or increase back pressure) till I get to stall. However, this method could be very time consuming, because several exit corrected mass flow rates should be tried to find the one after which stall happens. I am looking for a way to find stall point with the least number of calculations.BTW, I am working on a one stage fan.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

CFX predicts the flow at a given configuration. Think of it like a numerical experiment. So you are going to have to sweep over a parameter (flow rate, AOA, turbulence levels, whatever) to find the stall point.

You can speed things up by using smart curve fitting to the simulation results, for instance you can guess to some level what the stall point will be, so centre your search there.
