Hello everyone,

I have a big problem: i created a mesh in Icem and then made a cfx5 output file but after i imported this file into cfx-pre and tried to determine boundary conditions i cannot select any edges or surfaces of my geometry therefore i cannot run solver properly. Please help me.

Thanks everyone in advance.

You need to define the boundary locations in ICEM as parts so CFX-Pre can recognise them.

Thank you for your answer, but would you be more specific about how to do this?

This is basci ICEM stuff, do the ICEM tutorials. If they are not provided in the installation then download them from the ANSYS customer portal.
