Importing Energy Rate into CFX Heat Model

I have a working fluid model with a heat source in the middle of it. Right now I have the heat source set as a constant power output. What I need to do is import an excel file that has the energy deposition rate on that heat source based on position. Something like this:

x,y,z,Power
0,0,0,5
1,0,0,6
1,1,0,7
......

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

You can import this as a 3D interpolation file. You might need to tweak the format a little. I generally insert these sort of things directly into the CCL file rather than importing the data.

Still not quite there

I think I took your advice correctly and used the "Initialize Profile Data" feature into the precompiler. I am now having a problem getting the new function to recognize which coordinate frame I want it in. I created a coordinate frame, but when I try to change it under the Details section, it will only allow me to use the default coordinate frame.

Any thoughts?

No, I did not mean a profile data, I meant a 3D interpolation function.
