How to import indivisual CSV file to CFX for post processing

Dear all,

My qusetion is this:
I have an indiviual CSV file containing "Node and Value" information. Can I use CFX-Post for postprocessing?
how?
please note that the CSV file is already created (exported) from another CFX-result file.

What do you want to do with the data? What does the data represent? If it represents a scalar field over a mesh then you will have to look at file/open in CFD-Post for the file formats it accepts.

The data is the pressure field over a circular plane. And I want to use CFX-POST for calculation of average values on some radial strips. I know how to do it in CFX -POST ,however, i don't know how to use other postprocessing softwares (such as TECHPLOT") for this aim.. Therefore, I prefer to use CFX-POST.

If it is .csv file with line and face connectivity you can import it back to cfd-post as a user surface.
Insert > Location > User surface > Method: from file

It does work.The file and its nodal values can be imported successfully. However, some of the geometrical features,such as creating "Clip surfaces" and ... are not possible, because there is no CFD domain . I tried different tricks to link the CSV file to another domain, but I could not make it.

i get the current density z of node at a surface, then compute the dissolution value along z axis, so new node is produce by the old node subtract the computed dissolution value. how to import into the CFD post. i want to see the deformation of the surface. i replace the old data, and save the csv file ,then import the saved csv file by importing surface data or using the user surface, there is error, i don't know why
