Hopper simulation

Hi!
I use Ansys CFX
I want try to simulate an hopper with particles (ø 0,3-1mm).
Knows anybody an good tutorial for my problem?
Thank you!!!

CFX comes with a number of tutorials, some of which demonstrate the use of modellign particles. They can be modelled either in a Langrangian approach (particle tracking) or a Eularian approach - there are tutorials for both.

Hi!
Is it possible to make an Discrete Element Method on CFX too?
Thank you!

CFX has a basic lagrangian model to do particle tracking. It has a number of features which may be of interest - have a look into this model.

But if you want advanced DEM capabilities you will have to look at other packages like EDEM. EDEM can be coupled with CFX so EDEM does the DEM and CFX does the fluid flow. Or if you just want DEM then use EDEM by itself.
