free surface simulation with parallel caculation?

1 Attachment(s)
1) I am running some free surface simulations. When i run a such simulation with more than one core, there is usualy a error "ERROR #004100018 has occurred in subroutine FINMES, Message: Fatal overflow in linear solver" at sometime during the simulation. I have read from somewhere, that it would be problematical, if any portion of a partition boundary is aligned with the free surface. Is there a solution, so that the parallel caculation can be used?

2) According to the solver modelling guide, it may be useful for free surface simulation to set the timestep for the volume fraction equation an order of magnitude smaller than for the momentum equation. But how can i do this? I have tried the equation class settings in the solver control, but there is no further settings for volume fraction (see bild1 in attach). Where else can the timestep for the volume fraction equation be adjusted?

If it runs serial but not parallel the first thing to try is a different partitioning algorithm to attempt to move the partitions away from critical areas.

I was not aware you could accelerate the VF equations by themselves.
