pipe idealization ansys workbench

when i use the workbench, it show the problem.
"The program has detected a tubular cross section that contains a bend. Consider using a “pipe idealization” condition in order to capture possible cross section distortion" do you know how to solve it. thank you |

I'm aware I'm late but I was looking for info on this right now so it might be helpful to someone else.
http://www.ansys-blog.com/ansys-pipe-simulation/ https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...alization.html Basically, in Mechanical select your geometry that contains a pipe profile that has a bend in it. Under Model Type instead of Beam select Pipe and then in right click the Static Structural and Insert -> Pipe idealization. You can read about what Factor does in the 2nd link. \o/
