Hello All,

I was attempting to simulate the 2 way FSI tutorial problem involving an oscillating plate using ANSYS workbench and CFX (ver. 13). However, I receive the following error

"Could not open C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\Oscillat ingPlate_3876_Working\dp- 0\CFX\CFX\Work1\Fluid Flow CFX_001.ansys\ANSYS.port:No such file or directory"

I would like to know what I might be doing wrong.

Thanks & Regards

When you start an FSI 2-way run, CFX-Solver Manager gives you the option to start only CFX, only Mechanical or both. Make sure you're starting both.

Also, your temp folder seems to be one from the Administrator account. If your user isn't on the admin group you might not have access to that folder. Try changing it on the WB options to one every user has access to.

Hello Bruno,

Thanks for the input. I checked that I was starting both CFX and Mechanical. Besides, I tried setting up the problem again from scratch. I now have begun to receive another error stating that the ds.dat file located within /dp0/CFX/CFX is either missing or does not have any valid interfaces. I am not sure what appears to be the problem.

Thanks & Regards

Post your Mechanical input file and the .out file from CFX. I've seem CFX not find the Mechanical file before, but can't remember what was the cause for that.

Hello Danny and Bruno,

I was wondering if this matter was solved? Because I have encountered the same problem.

Thanks
