Hi,
I am dealing with a problem it sounds like stupid but really i don't how what to do. I defined an expression but during solution and after re-meshing process it doesn't move as I expected .according to expression it must move 7 cm after 0.1 sec but after re-meshing it doesn't follow equation and its position is 45 cm after 0.05 sec.before first re-mesh every thing is OK
thanks for any response

Your post isnt clear.

Your displacement expression was "hp valve velocity" and the expression graphs were of "hp valve position"

What exactly are you doing and what is the "hp valve velocity" expression. For displacement, you typically would need to multiply this times t (for constant velocity).

dear Singer
thanks for your response
you're right that typo fault , my bad
I'm trying to define parabolic profile for hp valve position as shown in the picture.
my problem is difference between expression plot and monitor plot
until first re-mesh monitor and expression is as good as what i expected but after re-mesh monitor doesn't show expectation
thanks

I am not understanding. The two plots dont even match up. I assume this is showing upto the remesh point and you havent shown the remesh data?

If i understand correctly you want -hp displacement applied to your model. So your monitor of z shows that. But the magnitude is all wrong. If I read it right, you arent even capturing the right displacement prior to remesh.

Dear Singer
You were right, but i put numbers in the equation and that was fit with monitor and expression plot after first re-mesh deviation begins
