hi all
there is one important question about initial condition in a transient cavitation modeling.
as mentioned in CFX manual , it is very important to set an accurate initial single phase condition (cavitation not activated) to solve a cavitating flow.but what if we need a transient modeling with adaptive time step ?in a transient model the CFX-Pre warns that it needs an initial condition which contains both fluids(water and water vapor) !
i see when a wrong initial condition have been set,it tunes to a wrong result(if i am not wrong in other parameter settings).
what should we do with this accurate initial condition in a transient run which contains both fluids ??
Thanks in advance

ghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really nice
A single phase model should be OK to start. Just make sure you define a volume fraction initial condition of all liquid.
