Memory Error
Hy,
can anybody help me with this kind of error? I am beginner and try a fluid flow throught a hollow zylinder as a heat source. That would be really nice! lpnquery library
Hy CFX-Community,
does anybody know what a lpnquery library means? Thx and Greets Michi |
I have no idea. It is some weird thing you have set up. But as you have given no details about what you are doing or how you are doing it there is not much we can do to help.

Dear Horroks,
ok, true ! I am trying to simulate an air flow ( for temperature and velocity distribution) through a choke coil (dimensions: diameter: 2m, height: 2,5 m) The choke coil looks like a hollow cylinder with a wall thickness of 10 cm with a 3layers ( ring).Between every layer is a gap of 5 cm . Air flows througth it and cools the choke (like a convector) The boundary conditions of the surrounding (on a free ambient field)are inlet at the right side, outlet at the top, left side opening, back side and ground as wall. The choke material is aluminum with a source cooled by air flow. I have already got some results for similar conditions and body. I changed the geometry ( from 5 layers to 3 layers) and the mesh of an existing similar working simulation of a choke coil. But this time when I start the solver, it stops after a few seconds and I get this error. It even doesn't start mounting the mesh. Since the older version is working I thought about old parameters which cause the problem. Nevertheless I try to start the whole thing from zero and not from an existing file. This should help! Thanks!!! Michi |
Can you post an image of what you are modelling and your CCL?

Dear Horrocks,
thanks for your help!! I found error. There was a bad connection with the domains and interface connections in the setup. I turned the automatic default Domains and Interfaces off during setup generation and they where not shown. I went to Edit-->Options-->General and turned Default Domains on. Then I got some hints! :) |
