Hello all.

I have a question about variable range in CFX Post. I simulate wide range of designs and the goal is to decrease temperature in the system. In my cst I have lots of contours of temperature field on solids. Is there any easy way how to decrease all ranges on all contours by doing few operations instead of redefining ranges for every single contour?

Thank you for help.

Best Regards

Maybe this would work?
Group all the planes into a Surface group, then under the color tab, chose temperature and the range you want. Or create a contour using only the surface group as location.

Thank you for reply. My cst contains lots of contours and as a location I choose different domains and different surface locations on them. So I need to have all of them separately in a single object, just to move with range of each contour.

Use a session file to change all the ranges in one go, or define them as parameters and change them from workbench.

Setup the contours to use an expression for min and max? Just change the expression?

thank you for all replies. Setting ranges as a parameter seems to be the best solution. thank you again
