Hello!
I need to read out a variable over the length of my blade. I did this with the turbo mode. I exported it to a .csv-file. Worked fine. Now I need to do this for my last 100 timesteps. I don't want to open 100 .trn-files and initialize the turbo mode, so I recorded a session and attached a loop. Until now everything works fine. The only problem is, that the .csv file always gets overwritten. I need one .csv-file with 100 rows. How can I manage, that the new data-row is attached and not overwrites the old one? (I also don't want 100 .csv files.) Does anybody know what to do? I could post the code if needed, but it's very long! Thx |

Easy way: Make the session file write 100 csv files and then use a batch file/python script/whatever to read the 100 csv files and combine it into one file.
Hard way: Use the perl interpreter inside CFD-Post session files to append a new line on the end of the csv file. I would do it the easy way personally. |
