Hello all.

I have a question regarding fan noise macro in CFX Post. Each time I define settings for that, I want to calculate it but it crashes with fatal error message.
Could I have some "bad" setting or have anybody had the problem like that?

Thank you for response.

Is it the infamous overflow error? http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansys...do_about_it.3F

No it is in CFX Post, not in solver.

Oh sorry, missed that. It is probably looking for some input and cannot handle not having it. I am not familiar with that macro so cannot comment, but I would check you results file contains all the information required to do noise calculations.

One more question. Do I have to specify something in CFX Pre to evaluate it in Post?

Thank you

In CFX-Pre you set up the result file options. I would set your final result file to contain everything and then hopefully it will be happy.
