FSI Issue with Isolated Volumes

Hi everyone!

I've just started working on a 2-way FSI within ANSYS Workbench, using CFX and Transient Structural. The geometry includes a fluid enclosure around a thin vane. When meshing this on the cfx side, the mesh always meshes both volumes separately and the meshes end up not matching. When I first tried to run the FSI, I received an isolated volumes error, which I later turned to false in the expert parameters. The fsi was able to run after this, but all the results ignore the effect of the vane in the volume.
What can I do to make the results show the effect of the vane?

Thank you,
G. Smith

I assume you are talking about the fluid mesh and the vane mesh being separate.

Why do you have your vane mesh in your CFD side? This shouldnt be there.
