3 layered vessel FSI(2 way)
I am trying to run a transient 2 way FSI simulation of an aortic vessel, which has three layers and each layer has different module of elasticity.
but after 1 time step solution crashes.
it's massage is negative volume and folded mesh
when i change the module of elasticity there is no problem
i want to know is there any way to solve this problem?
each layer has been assumed linear elastic ;E=4 MPa v=0.45
thanks for any help

You are probably getting excessive mesh motion leading to folding mesh. Do a simulation where you output a result file at every time step leading up to the crash (including the mesh) and look at it in the CFD-Post. Then you should be able to know what the source of the problem is.

If you can get on the ANSYS Customer Portal search for "2022119". This is a Solution # titled "How do you Stabilize strongly coupled 2-way FSI simulations between FLUENT or CFX and Mechanical?"
