Hi guys,
I would like to understand how a set of data (coordinates and velocity components) are organized in the exported .csv file in CFX. For instance, I have a plane in my domain and I want to export the coordinates along with velocity components on this plane. When I look at the saved data I don't understand how CFX has chosen to organize the 6 column matrix. It is clear that the first three columns are x, y, z and the next u, v ,w but what about the order of data in column elements? It doesn't seem like CFX takes the x values in the order of magnitude ie x values don't increase as you go down the column, this is not the case for y or z column elements either. So I was wondering in what order the values are selected from the plane for each column. Thanks. |

Not sure about this, but it is probably the node number order on the object selected for export.
