cfd5solve input file does not exist (solution)
 

Hello,
I would like to share with You my problem and it's solution.

PROBLEM:
While trying to use my net server, because it's faster, I copied all my job files on it. So the path looked like:
//server_adress/blah1/blah2/JOB
Then when trying to solve through cfxlauncher I got something like:
ANSYS CFX input file //server_adress/blah1/blah2/JOB/input_file.dat does not exist :confused:
And so the simulation did not go. :mad:

SOLUTION:
You need to specify for solver a direct path. For my server //server_adress/blah1/blah2/JOB directory is on drive Q:, so i need to tell solver that INPUT FILE, WORKING DIRECTORY etc. are on drive Q: like following:
Q\blah1\blah2\JOB\input_file.dat etc.
And everything went great :D

It took me 2 days to get to that, so I hope it will be useful for someone :)
