hi,
does anybody know how to get particle concentration at a given point in CFX post?

(Particle tracking model)

It is the volume fraction of the particle phase.

hi Glenn,
Thanks a lot.
Then, to get volume fraction at a point, do i want to use monitor points?
I have tried to get it by CFX post by using function calculator and shows as zero.
Actually I am doing a sensitivity analysis for define number rate.

You can use a monitor point in the solver or a point object in CFD-Post. Both will work.

if CFD post gives a value zero at a given point for volume fraction, does it mean no particle tracks pass through the point?

Many thanks for replies.
