Hi, I am doing the internal flow through a blade passage analysis for a centrifugal compressor. I am using the mass flow rate as the outlet boundary condition of about 4 kg/s (total mass flow rate for a 24 blade centrifugal impeller without splitters). But, in the result report for the compressor rotor it is showing the mass flow rate of 4.5 kg/s. Can someone tell me what might be problem and how can I overcome it?

You say the boundary condition is "about" 4 kg/s - so isn't 4.5 kg/s "about" right?

Please attach you CCL and an image of what you are modelling for us to help you. Also check your mass imbalances.
