CEL or Fortran Code

Hi All,
It's been quit a while since first I started CFX. I am trying to model population balance of biological systems due to coalescence of species under laminar shear. CFX is only featured with "Prince and Blanch" model which is basically for modeling bubble coalescence in transient flows, and thus is not applicable in my case.
after all I came to this conclusion that I have to write either a CEL or a fortran routine for the suitable model which is as follows:

beta(ij)=(2*k*T/3*mu) *(di+dj)*(1/di+1/dj); di and dj are diameters of colliding particles.

I've already tried to get help from "Help" of Ansys but i didn't get how to write the above expression as a CEL because i don't know how is it possible to define diameters of two colliding particles as di or dj !!
water is as continuous phase and a user-defined polydispersed phase (algae) is as dispersed phase. FYI I am using inhomogeneus MUSIG.

Any help or information is highly appreciated. :)
tnx in advance

just FYI, the CEL worked well.

Hi Hana-90,

I have been stuck in this problem for almost two weeks. How did you find di and dj using CEL?

Thanks a lot. Looking forward for your reply.

Hi Hana...I am also trying to figure out a solution to a similar problem. I am trying to call some variable like Group 1 diameter, mass etc into a CEL function/FORTRAN routine. Could you tell me how you wrote a CEL routine in your case? That might shed some light to solve my problem. Thanks
