Velocity, Porous Domain

Hello

I have a porous domain with a mass and energy sources. I am interested in velocity in my system. the velocity is changing with change in mass of the system (addition or subtraction). but I want to make it follow my CCL. which is

V(x,y,z) = Constant/(Water.Viscosity)* pabs.Gradient(x,y,z)

How it would be able to follow some CCL or expression?

I do not understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to make the flow move at the velocity you describe or are you trying to read the velocity from a simulation? Or is it something else?

Thanks Ghorrocks

I want flow(velocity) according to my described CCL. but velocity is following the Mass Source.(Mass reduction & Addition). Can you recommend me a document which can give me details of Velocity in CFX, like how it calculates it? upon which parameters it depends?

Thank you once again

This is all described in the CFX documentation. You need mass and momentum source terms to do the addition/subtraction of stuff. Also if you are modelling a porous material then have a look at the porous models built into CFX.

Thanks Ghorrocks

I will try and then discuss.
