I'm trying to export boundary condition profile data from my outlet of first simulation and use as inlet for my second simulation. However, I fail to generate values whereby cart.vel components (U,V,W) in mass and momentum are blank. By the way, I'm using Ansys CFX 15.

I also use CFX15 and many time I have used profile data to give the boundary condition.
Please check the following things, there might be the problem there: 1) if you have generated .csv file from the CFX post, then that same file cannot be used as profile data file, you need to make some changes so that it will be detected as profile data file 2) Have you initialize profile data from menu bar? 3) in the boundary condition tab have you, clicked on the generate tab after selecting the profile data file? |

Thanks for your comment. I actually want to extract outlet that contains different kind of mixtures which also meant by each component has its own volume fraction(multiphase). For example, I try to apply CO and Air velocity profile as boundary condition to next simulation. May I know how to deal with it? It works fine with only one fluid.

You may need to show the Basic Details tab for that panel as well as the panel for the profile you imported.
The names in the profile must match the proper parameters in the boundary condition panel; otherwise, you must set them manually. Once the profile is imported, it should show you how the names in the profile are mapped to possible boundary conditions. |

Thanks for your reply. How about my Cart.vel components (U) in mass and momentum is written as outlet.Air.Superficial Velocity X(x,y,z)+outlet.CO.Superficial Velocity X(x,y,z) if I want to combine Air and CO together as an input to inlet? Is the term define in a correct way ?
