Wave in CFX
 

Hello!
I want to create a continues wave in a water pool.
what do you suggest me to do that?
I tried to make it by a rotational blade(or sth like that).
but I didn't success.
is there another way to do it or my way is correct?

There are many ways of doing this:

1) Apply the full wave equation at a boundary condition (I will leave it as an exercise for you to find a reference for the water wave equations).
2) Use moving mesh to have a flapper at one end of the domain.
3) Have a block of fluid initially raised above the rest of the fluid which drops and creates waves
4) Apply an oscillating flow at a boundary (note that if you do not apply the proper wave equation the water waves this generates will have all sorts of harmonics in it and be a bit weird)

I did #3. But it just make a single wave.
