hi all,
actually i doing simulation of jet impingement on heated plate with heat flux of 70E+04 using RPI boiling model.i use Auto time scale with time scale factor of 1.

other parameter i set are:
Bubble diameter =0.000012 [m]
saturation temperature= 373.15 [k]
subcool liq temp =77[k]
Inlet temp =296.15 [k]

saturation temperature is not achieved and showing the error:

Parallel run: Received message from slave

if anyone have idea about please suggest me

Post a picture of your setup.

What is the speed of your jet?

Why do you expect boiling to occur?

Dear RicochetJ,

Many thanks for response, i refer a tutorial related to RPI boiling. As i apply tutorial condition to my case its going to right, but as i change the condition the temperature of liquid increases beyond the saturation temperature. The condition are as follows:

Tutorial condition:
Ref. pressure = 4.5 Mpa (sat temp = 530.65 K)
sub cooling= 58.2K

our condition:
Ref pressure= 0.1 Mpa (sat temp =373.15 K)
subcooling = 3.15K

and i change other properties like Density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, specific heat according to ref pressure for both vapor and liquid in Material.

What is your onset temperature for nucleate boiling and is this onset temperature achieved in a single phase simulation without the RPI boiling model enabled?

Dear sir,
first i try replace tutorial conditions (4.5 Mpa) by our condition (0.1 M pa) one by one and check for every change and its going right. but as i change the vapor density and specific heat capacity in material corresponding to 0.1 Mpa, program is not working.
Is this RPI boiling is working for high pressure ?

Yes the RPI boiling model has been developed and validated against high pressure cases (think nuclear reactors for example). You can get it to work for low pressure cases but you need to know stuff like the nucleation site density, bubble detatchment frequency, onset of nucleate boiling etc.

It's not easy. Read up on papers by the Helmholtz Centre in Dresden. They're behind alot of these kinds of models. They have some papers on sub cooled boiling which relates to low pressure boiling.
