Hello.
I know " torque_x()@disk " in a butterfly valve will give me the total torque.
It is correct ??
Now, i want to find hydrodynamic torque component from the total torque.
How can i do this ??
I found a below formula:
Td = T *(1-(p*/p))
But I dont know what mean P* or P ??

What is the hydrodynamic torque?

I have no idea what your formula means either. Try reading the reference you got it from.

I refer you to this paper:
"A Numerical Study of the Flow through a Safety Butterfly Valve in a Hydro-Electric Power Scheme"

Page 1120 in topic "Comparison with field measurements"
If you cant find it , i can send it to you.

I don't have time to read research papers on your topic. You are going to have to post enough information about the issue that we can answer it.
