I am currently doing a analysis on the fan air flow in a container. However, i am unable to set up the convection flow of the fan. My goal is to achieve maximum suction pressure of the fan in the container.

My questions are:
1)Since my fan is inside a container what domain do i select?
(Solid domain or porous domain or Immersed domain)?

i am using a computer fan. my design computer fan is surrounded by a fan casing followed by enclosed in a nozzle region. Almost like a plane engine

Have a look at the example tutorials which come with CFX. You will find, of your options solid domain, porous or immersed solid - the answer is "none of the above".

The fan is modelled as a cavity in the fluid domain. And the fluid domain is probably in a rotating frame of reference.

does this includes the nozzle also be classified as fluid domain?

Most people are interested in what the fluid flow is doing. So if the nozzle contributes to the fluid flow then yes, you model it (that is the fluid domain inside the nozzle, not the nozzle itself).
