CFX for permeability

Hi everyone!
I try to solve the permeability using CFX.
I have the model (link https://drive.google.com/folderview?...jQ&usp=sharing)
I have the manual (link as well).
But I can't do some action which wrote in manual.
For instance, I did some action untill page 4 "Defining domains in CFX". I'm not be able to do it because I can't choose the area without yarn, I don't know why. The model is good I think, I'm not good at CFX probably.
Thank you for help!

Regards, Kop6eH

Have you done the CFX tutorials provided with the software? This shows how to do basic operations like this.

No, whould you mind giving me a link or name of the tutorial (maybe page)?

Thank you

It is in the CFX documentation/help in the tutorials. That describes how to set up a simulation in CFX.

For the meshing you will need to look at the tutorials for whatever meshing package you use.

one more question, please.
First of all, I've already read a tutorial.

1. I exported mesh from another program (texgen) and I've already have the mesh, .vtu file.
2. I also have executable file that I have to show when I import my mesh to Ansys (see picture in attachement).
3. Is it say that I still need to do the another mesh in gaps (without yarn)? Is it clear?

Thank you.

No. I do not know what you are asking.

Really sorry.
I'll try to explain.
1. I have to define the fluid domain for the gaps between yarns only, but I can't do this because when I was trying I culdn't choose the gaps between yarn only. I don't know why.

2. I can't use only CFX because I have to have .vtu file to import mesh with exec location file which I've already have.

is it much more clearly?

You appear to be following a tutorial example provided by the university. The import tool it uses is custom written for the file format you have so I cannot help you there. Why don't you ask your tutor how to get this working?
