Hi Friends;
I want to simulate the flow in a Siphon Spillway and evaluate the vibration magnitude due to the flow inside the duct. Note: before having a pipe flow inside a siphon we have a two-phase flow Now I want to investigate the interaction of fluid and the structure of the spillway to understand the magnitude of vibration effects on the structure. Which software would you recommend me to use in order to complete my thesis? (Abaqus or Ansys CFX or Ansys Fluent or any other ?????) Your help would be greatly appreciated |

All of those codes can do it. But Flow3D is one I would look at for this type of thing. But you should try a few of them and see how they go. They all offer free trials so this is pretty easy to organise.
