Double meshing while piecing together a workbench through files folder?

Long story short - my wbpj is corrupted (computer froze in the middle of a save, and I power shut it down, turned it back on, now the wbpj just has a basic hex error).
Good news though, the files folder is fine. Now, I would like to duplicate one of the blocks I had (with the geometry, mesh, setup, solution, and run) so I can duplicate, make tweaks to the geometry (move a fan a foot up etc). Procedure - I rename the meshdb file to a meshdat, import that from workbench screen (gives a geo-mesh block). Now, I drag and drop a cfx block on to the mesh of the above block. Now, I import the cfx file into the setup of the cfx block. I right click and update the mesh. I start a run using my previous run's .res file as an initialization. I get isolated fluid domains. I discovered the reason - I am getting two meshes - one from the initial meshdat drag-drop and another from the cfx import. Now, in the setup I cant delete the mesh I should (the one with the locations with a "2" in the front). So I delete, the other mesh (from the cfx file), but that throws all my interfaces domains off because they dont have a "2" in their locations. How do I delete the second mesh from this whole import procedure? |

How about reallocating the interfaces to the "2" locations if the whole mesh delete does not work as you intended?

Kinda dont want to do that. There are a LOT of interfaces...

That's what I suspected
And when using the "Edit in Command Editor" for your Interfaces?Maybe the renaming is a little easier? |
