Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I am facing with CFX results.
CFX simulation of interest was terminated strangely that I didn't get a single .res file. The .dir folder is still there (should have been cleaned up by CFX in the case of clean termination).
In the .dir file, I've both .res file as well as the .mon file. When I open .res file in solver manager as "finished run", the monitor results aren't available but if open the folder as "run in progress" I get all the monitor data.

I opened the .res file in CFD-post and it open just fine.
I was wondering is there any way to integrate the .res and .mon data into a single result file which i can use for next work with the history to understand when the simulation is stabilised.

Any thoughts on the same would be highly appreciated.

Opaque will become famous soon enough
From the command line, try the following

cfx5dfile -help

look for -write-monitor <file>

Hope the above helps,

When i use -write-monitor, it replaces the old monitor data with the new one rather than keeping all of it.
Any pointers on how to add the new monitor data for recent time steps rather than replacing the old monitor data.

Thank you.
