I have a heat transfer challenge.. its a furnace boiler with primary n secondary tube circuit. Saturated steam flow in primary tube.. superheatesd steam in secondary. Water injection ecists in between.
1) how to model the phase change of saturated-superheated steam ... the material with appropriate eos
2) water injection that can simulate heat transfer and possible phase change of sat-super.
3) heat flux from combustion
4) combine above for conjugate heat transfer across tube thickness to obtain tube skin temp

This is a complex model and I hope you have left plenty of time to develop it. The only way you are going to get this model working is by carefully developing each part of the physics one at a time until you understand them enough to combine them. This means doing the CHT model first (as that will be easiest, and use a simple single phase fluid model) and developing that until it is accurate. Then look at the phase change with a simple EOS, and move to the full EOS when successful. Likewise look at the water injection by itself.

And only when all these models work in isolation then combine them together. Again, I repeat this is complex model and I hope you are an experienced CFD operator as it is not a task for beginners.

Done multiple multiphase inhomogenous but first exposure with phase change with eos.

This is not an area where I have much experience so can't help you much. But it really is up to you to determine what the important physical properties are and make sure the EOS you use adequately captures those physical properties.
