Hi there!
I'm simulating artery blood flow by ANSYS-CFX 2-way FSI. I can only see two options for pressure outlet: Outlet and Opening. To model pulsating fluid, I've selected Opening condition. However, the pressure is fixed throughout the simulation. How can I specify that the pressure as an average value over the simulation time as can be done in FLUENT? Thanks |

Or do you want to have a time-varying pressure boundary condition? See e.g. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...dary+vary+time |

Thanks for the reply. The problem is solved. Turns out I needed to use STATIC pressure and direction option!
P.S. If anyone get's same doubt in future, refer to following manual sections: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans.../i5500692.html (2.3.3. Using Inlets, Outlets and Openings) https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans.../i1301250.html (2.6.1. Mass and Momentum) |
